I keep getting the following pop up whenever I open or close a tab:

Exc in ev handl: Error: Bad NPObject as private data!

Also, my home page seems to have been changed to some kind of search engine.
What do I need to look for to delete these?

Run your anti virus checker or get one.

Every time there is an ad in the video I’m trying to watch on youtube when I’m using firefox it says “An error occurred please try again later”. This doesn’t happen on Chrome. Why is this happening?

Try updating your Flash Player:
–//get.adobe—/flashplayer/otherversions/

Chrome isn’t affected as it has it’s own version of flash player.

Every site that I go to says there’s a certificate error- and I have to choose “continue to this site-Not Recommended” in order to get anywhere. I have gone into internet options, and tried to disable certificate error warnings, but I’m not having any luck. How do I get rid of this? Thanks!

Change your browser to firefox. It is much more faster, secure and will not give that error on internet explorer.

Why am I getting script errors on Facebook?

neosho_wildcat_graduate_2007: Why am I getting script errors on Facebook?
I would like to know why I keep getting “stop scripts” pop ups from Facebook. I usually click “stop script” and check mark the “do not ask again” but it still pops up every time. Does anyone know a way to end this? Is it maybe because I am using Mozilla Firefox and not Internet Explorer? Thanks for any help!

Clean up your browser/computer or try different one. You can also log out and then, in your account.

I hope that helps!

if you suspend a process, does it start exactly where it finished with no errors?

Just Another Guy: if you suspend a process, does it start exactly where it finished with no errors?
i found the option on windows 7, if i was to do it on just say 3ds max in the middle of a render, would it resume exactly where it stopped?

also if firefox was downloading something, would the download freeze, letting you focus your internet on something else, then continue as soon as you unsuspend it?

I can’t test this to verify it, but I’m assuming that the ‘suspend’ is similar to ‘cancel’. If that is the case, NO, it will not simply halt the process and then pick it back up. It will stop it completely – and you would have to start over again.

Another issue you are facing is that you seem to be talking about 2 different processes run by 2 different programs. So they may well work in 2 totally different ways, depending on how each programmer wants to interpret the concept of ‘suspend’.

Should Yahoo give us free points when they subject us to a lot of errors and problems?

Foon: Should Yahoo give us free points when they subject us to a lot of errors and problems?
I keep getting errors today. Since I have to continually view ads while I reload the page/change to a different page then I think they should give us some free points, right?
I think it should read, “Today we’re having errors. It must be difficult for you. Here have 20 points.”

Dang, I want a coffee mug, too!! How did you get one?

I want another free coffee mug, but not one of those crappy Answers cups. They’re only good for holding loose change.

Answer: why does my computer have errors that say website not responding?

chappylins: why does my computer have errors that say website not responding?
Recently, when I begin to upload photos to either photobucket or photolava, my computer pops up an error. On photobucket it says that program is not responding. On photolava it says Application Error. Then says to click OK to terminate or click CANCEL to debug program. I need help. I use these sites frequently. But it usually only happens right after I click the picture that I want uploaded or right when I click UPLOAD.

Why is my yahoo avatar page always coming up page done but with errors on it?

Laurie M: Why is my yahoo avatar page always coming up page done but with errors on it?
Every time I try to go in to my yahoo avatar page to make an avatar it says page done loading but with errors on it. I even go out of the page and go back in it still says the same thing though. It won’t let me do or see anything on there.

Those are scripting errors. You have nothing to worry about, there’s nothing you can do about them except switch your browser. Try Firefox, it’s a much better browser than IE, and you won’t get those errors.
