Answer: How to download Adobe Flash Player with Firefox?

lost: How to download Adobe Flash Player with Firefox?
I am trying to help my friend download Adobe Flash Player on her computer with Firefox. We have uninstalled all previous versions of the flash player and it is still not working. Everytime we try to install it, it gives an error message saying that Firefox needs to be closed and the download won’t complete. What can we do?

(It is Firefox version 3 and Adobe version 9.0.124.0)

Thanks for all help.

save the file don’t run it, make sure you know where you save it, once it is downloaded completely close out of firefox (includes the downloads window) and then double click the .exe file

You need to download Adobe flash player in order to watch these videos. Visit —.adobe— in firefox and download the latest flash player version. This should fix it!

Why are YouTube and other Flash videos displaying as green or pixellated blobs?

LemonFresh: Why are YouTube and other Flash videos displaying as green or pixellated blobs?
I’m running Windows 7 and using Firefox, and I have the latest Flash player and plug-in installed. Yet every once in a while, a YouTube or other embedded video will display as a series of green screens with streaks through them, followed by corrupted (pixellated) images from the video and more green screens, but with the sound perfectly normal. This doesn’t happen with all videos, just occasionally. Yet I know these videos work for other people. Any idea what might be causing this?

Your Flash is creating troubles for you.

* Run RegInOut scan for active-x, file associations and other registry errors largely behind such crashes.
–//ibx.intel—/directory/productpage/tabid/85/language/en-us/p-4869-reginout-pc-optimizer-reg-cleaner.aspx

* Try to uninstall the current flash player version. Read this official guide to uninstall flash plug-in:
–//kb2.adobe—/cps/141/tn_14157.html

* Use official uninstaller tool to remove all flash elements from your computer.

* After completing the above task download flash player 9 instead of the latest version. Sometimes there are intricate browser flash conflicts and changing the versions is often helpful.

* Update your sound drivers if possible since the videos may simply crash because of the corrupted or missing drivers.

1) Open Device Manager

2) Find the sound-card device

3) Remember the name of the device

4) Uninstall it.

5) After doing this restart your system.

How do I update adobe flash player 10 in Opera or Firefox?

AlwaysSmiling: How do I update adobe flash player 10 in Opera or Firefox?
Because it doesn’t seem to work for either of them. In my internet explorer, I was able to update it fine but in Opera or Firefox, I can’t get it to work. I’ve went to the adobe site and tried to download it but, it’s not working. I really want my video qualities to be better when I watch them so can someone please help?
I don’t update them all at once. I’ve tried with each program at a time, while the others are all closed.

close all other browsers, update one at a time.

How do you link Mozilla Firefox to your Flash player?

psych23232323: How do you link Mozilla Firefox to your Flash player?
I just got Mozilla Firefox but when I tried to go on Youtube through it, it tells me I need to update my flash player. But I already have the flash player updated and it works on IE.

Is there a way I can get Mozilla to acknowledge the flash player I already have?

Internet Explorer uses a different type of plug-in than everyone else (the ActiveX plug-ins are one of the big reasons Internet Explorer is vulnerable to a lot of viruses). You have to download Flash Player again from Firefox, Chrome, Opera, Safari, or any other non-IE browser.
