Sometimes on a page some words are not words. Other times the entire page is affected. They are boxes with numbers and letters in them. A square a little bigger than a capital letter with four numbers and/or letters. Two on top of each other. Firefox has the numbers and letters while ie and Chrome just have the boxes. Is it possibly a setting somewhere is not correct? It happens in emails as well. Any ideas? It’s starting to drive me crazy.

Possibly corrupted file system, possibly a virus. I would download AVG free antivirus and see what it says. then scan the hard drive for errors/bad sectors. And get that hard drive replaced.

Every day I get at least one problem on the Internet explorer that results in sending an error report to Microsoft. It’s so annoying because it closes all internet applications when this happens. Another thing, you cant eve view the browsing history so you can start again where you left off.

Yes, I get the same with IE7. In the middle of something it just pops up with the message, “Internet Explorer has encountered an error and must close” and poof it’s gone. I went to their website and got the run around.

I keep trying but it says “error: error unknown” and I restarted my computer, I updated everything, is it just me or is it photobucket?

Well, not long ago, I had trouble getting to Photobucket. It would just keep loading but won’t get me into the site. I also experienced bugs with its photo editing application long ago. It could be an unknown error.

I suggest you try a different web browser to get to Photobucket and see if you still get errors from there.

When using the internet, I get an error report from IE. Saying if i want to close the application OR if i want to report it to MS. I run virus scans constantly, and daily as a matter of fact.If i am lucky IE will re-establish my connection, and I will not have to back track to get to the page i was viewing at the time i lose connection.

That error could be from a million things within IE itself or your operating system.
I personally recommend using any of the below browsers instead.

My laptop has been having problems on youtube. Whenever I click on a vid it says, an error occured, please try again later. It used to work usually after clicking refresh but now it’s not working. Every day it gets worse than the last.

Is anyone else having this problem, and how can I fix this?

Is it possible that the isp you are using may be blocking youtube or some proxy that is blocking youtube

Justin: Does anyone know how to fix this computer error message?
I’m about to pull my hair out with this. This computer is about 2-3 years old, and it has worked fine until now. Now whenever i turn it on i get all these error message in windows (xp) that i have to click through before it works (they are about memory errors). Then whenever i load firefox i get more errors and the browser shuts down.

Does anyone know how to fix these kinds of computer error messages or should i take it to be looked at?

I think you have to take it to be looked at, maybe you deleted an important file, or you had a virus.
If you have anything that is needed (E.G. programs,files,music,documents.) drag them into a blank CD.
If you don’t want it to be looked at, and if you don’t have any important files, just put inside the installation CD and boot the computer.

When I log on to the internet, I will receive these Internet Explorer errors with a triangle and an excamation mark inside of it. On the inside of that message will be the following error messages… Line 2 Char 1 Error: Object expected, Line 166 Char 2 , Line 152 Char 5 and so on. How do I fix this problem? I have tried several things, but to no avail I cannot fix it.

Both in my workplace and at home, whenever I close the Yahoo Mail tab (I’m using the new Yahoo Mail, not the Yahoo Mail Classic), all of the other Firefox tabs, as well as other Firefox windows just hang up, and eventually the Send, Don’t send window box appears and Firefox shuts down. Anyone else having this problem? Is there a fix?
