Answer: How do I get internet access available for anything other than internet explorer?

ANSWERZ: How do I get internet access available for anything other than internet explorer?
I am connecting to a cable modem by ethernet cable and when I use internet explorer it works fine, but when I go to use anything else, such as browsers and online games; there is no connection. It is not the firewall, so I suspect it to be a dns related error. When I try to ping anything it recieves an error code 65.

How do I access a cached page in my browser (Firefox)?

Joe: How do I access a cached page in my browser (Firefox)?
I just saw an important question on Answers, which included an email for further discussion. I refreshed the page to see what others had posted while I was reading the question, and then the “error” message came up saying the question had been deleted. I want to see the question again and email the guy who asked. How can I access the page I was looking at before I refreshed?

You can access your Firefox cache files by typing this “about:cache?device=disk” into your FF URL bar

There is the cache directory will tell you the directory in which cache is stored, this is not IE and you’ll not be able to browse by going to that directory, because its in encrypted form. If you want to browse your cache, you’re in the page!

The about:cache?device=disk is the disk cache page! browse around in here.

This is completely different to what is temporary internet files in IE.

Use the quick find function by pressing / (forward slash) and type in keywords to go a particular element in cache, Use F3 to go to next search result .

Use Shift+F3 to go to previous result.

At this time, Yahoo! Mail does not offer a “return receipt” feature.

If your email has not bounced back to you with an error message, you can be reassured that it has been sent properly to the mail system that your recipient uses. However, this does not mean that he has opened or read your email. You could always ask the recipient to confirm the receipt by sending you a reply.

I keep getting an error trying to access my Yahoo mail- I get an error saying Internet Explorer cannot access?

Kim: I keep getting an error trying to access my Yahoo mail- I get an error saying Internet Explorer cannot access?
The error says Internet Explorer cannot access this page- check connection. Connection is fine- if I refresh it goes to an ad page. Other users on this computer can access their email- so it seems to be just my account. (I’ve tried accessing my mail on other user’s and I receive the same error.)

I’ve changed my password also and same result.

Please help– thanks !

I have thoroughly examined your Yahoo! Mail account, and I was not able to find an issue with it in our system, nor was I able to replicate this issue using your account. I recommend reading the following Yahoo! Mail Help article “Basic Browser Troubleshooting” for the best help resolving this problem. You can find the link to it below.
