What did you do when you keep getting ‘Network Timeout’ error message while trying to enter certain websites?

achorusofstorytellers: What did you do when you keep getting ‘Network Timeout’ error message while trying to enter certain websites?
I’ve tried in Firefox, IE and Google Chrome, but all ended up with getting error messages.
I’ve tried to change to another computer but still doesn’t work.
It’s probably not the website’s problem since most of my friends can enter those websites.
๐Ÿ™‚
I only can’t enter some websites. I still can chatting on MSN and Yahoo Messenger though.

You can pretty much say that you are not connected to the web. Call ISP

Its not a virus but your internet explorer error. I hate IE6 , IE7 AND IE8. Try mozilla firefox. If this wont resolve maybe your system has a error. Better fresh reformat.

What do I do about this message: Your message was not sent?

Your message was not sent

When I got a message like that, I just re-sent it and it worked fine. If that doesn’t work, you could try signing out and back in, and then changing the e-mail around a little. Or you may just have to wait a few days so the system doesn’t think you are doing anything “suspicious.”
And if all else fails, I know it’s hard, but you might just have to contact Yahoo! Customer Care. But we all know what that experience usually ends up being like….

Every time I try to send a yahoo email I get a message that internet explorer isn’t working?

Debora: Every time I try to send a yahoo email I get a message that internet explorer isn’t working?
I have been trying to send emails for two days from my Yahoo account. Everytime I hit send, I get an error message saying that internet explorer isn’t working and it shuts down. I’m not having any other issues with the internet. I went in a cleaned up my Yahoo mailbox but that didn’t help.

I think that because your browser.
Note: Although these are Yahoo! Mail supported browsers, we always recommend for the optimal Yahoo! Mail experience that you upgrade to the latest version.

Two reasons to upgrade:

Faster Speed – Newer browsers are faster than ever.

Safer Protection – Viruses and spyware donโ€™t stand a chance.

You can use the all-new Yahoo! Mail with the following browsers on the following operating systems:

Windows XP, Vista, and 7:

IE 6.0 and newer. Note: Soon we will no longer support IE 6. We strongly encourage you to update to the newest version of IE for the best Yahoo! Mail experience!
Firefox version 2.0.0.1 and newer
Safari version 3.0.4 and newer
Google Chrome version 1 and newer

Mac OS X 10.4, 10.5, and 10.6

Firefox version 2.0.0.1 and newer
Safari version 3.0.4 and newer

In the new Yahoo! Mail, you donโ€™t do this with your browser anymore. Now, just change your character encoding setting right in Yahoo! Mail!

Hereโ€™s how:

In the toolbar, click More Actions and select Set Encodings.
From the list that appears, select the encoding that matches the messageโ€™s content.

Note: Only one character encoding set may be viewed at a time. And in this case, changing your browserโ€™s encoding setting will not work.

The Discussion Tool can cause Internet Explorer to crash when using the new Yahoo! Mail.

To fix this, look for a yellow box with the lower corner turned up along the top of the browser in the Internet Exlporer toolbar.

Click it. While clicking, look at the bottom of your browser window. Does a lower toolbar open with discussion options? If so, click the X on the far left of that toolbar and then try logging in again. This should solve the issue.

Answer: Why is my brother getting this error message?

JeannieGirl: Why is my brother getting this error message?
My brother got a computer that is about a week old and was in display in the computer place. He took it home that way, and he is having trouble downloading anything. When he tried to download Cooliris, or Firefox, it gives him this message:

this installation package could not be opened. contact the application vendor to verify that this is a valid windows installer package.

Can anyone help?

He has an Acer Aspire Z5600 Multi touch all-in-one.

The Windows Installer is damaged or missing, if he is using Windows 2000 and XP (I wish people could post this when asking questions), try this

First of all, it would help to know whether you have Apple or PC.. But in any case you have to have the picture stored as a picture file, such as JPEG or other.
Then, open your mail browser, add a subject and a few words to the intended recipient, and then click the “Attach” icon.
When a new window opens with your picture file in it, click on the name of your picture file, and it should attach to your mail…Then send it.

If the picture file is too large, some internet services suppliers cannot or will not accept them. You can use a program like WinZip and shrink the picture file and send again.

Hope this helps

Why does my Internet Explorer give me an error message and close when I am trying to open a link others open?

Zoey: Why does my Internet Explorer give me an error message and close when I am trying to open a link others open?
I tried changing cookies to enable all, didn’t work, I updated IE, still doesn’t work. I even downloaded Firefox and it won’t open the link yet other people can open it. I have a current Adobe Acrobat Reader. I even tried shutting down my firewall. I could use any suggestions anyone has.

Raja: While browsing Internet Explorer getting closed with an error message as soon as I closed a web page. Why?
Some times unwanted advertisements appears while browsing. If I close it an error message appears requesting to click to send the error message to Microsoft. As soon as I clicked all the browsed pages are getting closed and I am starting again. Is there any way to avoid this disturbance?
