Steppenwolf: My computer/firefox is reading valid security certificates as invalid and expired?
How do I fix this? I think I might have picked up a virus or something that has made my computer or browser read valid security certificates as expired:
The certificate is not trusted because the issuer certificate has expired.
The certificate expired on 06/05/2011 00:59.
(Error code: sec_error_expired_issuer_certificate)
The certificates are obviously valid. The one above until 2011.
I’m finding myself have to manually make exceptions for every page I visit.
Can anyone help me?

Is your system clock right? These kind of glitches happen when your system time is set far in the future.
If that’s not the case, you may have to a virus you need to destroy.
I recommend you install a new antivirus program, after uninstalling whatever antivirus program you have.
If it’s a small virus, I would get Avast Antivirus, the home free edition. After you install it, updated it, schedule a boot time scan. It should automatically ask you to do this.
If it’s a more serious infection, and you need a heavy-duty antivirus program, get Eset Nod32. It costs $ 40 a year, but there is 30-day free trial with the full version. You can use the free trial to clean your computer, then you can replace it withe the free Avast Antivirus.
